学校于2021年正式启动IACBE商科认证工作，于2021年9月成为IACBE的教育会员单位。2021-2023年，学校注重学习IACBE成果评估认证体系，理顺学校办学宗旨、专业学生学习成果与学院运行成果、成果评估工具与指标等关键内容。2022年5月，学校向IACBE递交候选人资格申请；同年9月，IACBE认证委员会首席合格官和认证官Cecilia J. Livengood对我校国际商科认证候选人资格进行了线上考察。2022年12月，学校成功通过候选人资格评审。 

Dongguan City University officially started the IACBE business accreditation process in 2021, and became an educational member of IACBE in September. From 2021 to 2023, the university focuses on learning the IACBE results assessment accreditation system, in line with the university purpose, professional student learning outcomes and academic performance, results evaluation tools and indicators and other key elements. In May 2022, the university submitted a candidate qualification application to the IACBE; in September of the same year, the Chief Qualifying Officer and Accreditation Officer of the IACBE  Cecilia J. Livengood conducted an online inspection of our international business accreditation candidacy. In December 2022, the university successfully passed the candidate qualification assessment.

2023年，学校IACBE认证工作进入正式会员资格申请阶段，申请专业有会计学、物流管理、工商管理、金融学、国际经济与贸易、电子商务9个专业。2024年5月，学校如期向IACBE递交了正式会员资格申请。2024年9月19日至21日，学校将组织开展IACBE正式会员资格现场考察工作，专家组将进校考察学校和学院的办学水平、专业建设和运行条件，对学校的教育质量、应用型人才培养历年、教学质量保障等方面的成果进行评价。

In 2023, the university's IACBE certification work entered the formal membership application phase, with nine specialties in accounting, logistics management, business management, finance, international economics and trade, and e-commerce. In May 2024, the university submitted its formal application for membership to the IACBE as scheduled. From 19 to 21 September 2024 the university will organize an on-site visit to the official membership of the ICBE, where the expert group will visit the school to examine the university and college's level of functioning, professional construction and operating conditions, and to evaluate the university's results in terms of the quality of education, applied talent training years, and teaching quality assurance.

申请国际认证不仅符合国家与广东省鼓励高校开展专业认证的政策方向，也提升了我校商科教学质量，增强了学校办学竞争力和国际知名度，有利于实现我校“创一流大学，办百年名校”的应用型大学发展目标。

Applying for international accreditation is not only in line with the policy direction of encouraging universities to carry out professional accreditation in China and Guangdong Province, but also improve the quality of teaching in business units and the competitiveness and international visibility of our university, which is conducive to the achievement of the application university development goal of our university.
